JavaBlitz

jBlitz is a neat piece of software written by ( ?) for Dartmouth college.

It's extremely portable (being written in java....), but many users feel that it is not robust enough to be an 'everyday' BlitzMail client.

For example, trying to delete all 1000 messages in some folder will cause the program to slow down gradually to a crawl -- without any guarantee that the client will delete all of the messages before crashing.

We doubt that we could get the jBlitz source to be opened up, so at least for the moment we're thinking that Blitz for Linux has the best shot at becoming the linux blitzmail standard.
