I was going to put up a quick explaination of how I modified the IRIX source to work under Linux, but now it appears that we're going to do a complete re-write of the sidecar code from scratch, so I'll document that process instead :-)

Is there supposed to be a page here?

Also, has there been any update on the status of source code distribution? I'd really prefer to be able to audit the code before installing it.
