A Moo is a "MUD Object-Oriented" (they put the words in the wrong order, right?)
(for information on MUDs, see WhatIsAMUD ?) A Moo is an interactive world where you can log in and interact with other players, move from room to room, pick up and discard objects, etc... One of the neat aspects of a Moo is that you can write programs in MooCode?. These programs may be as simple as a 4-function calculator, or as complicated as an ftp server... A bit of history:Stephen White (ghond) wrote the first MOO server.
Pavel Curtis took the basic design, language, and code, fixed bugs and added features to release the first LambdaMOO version.
He maintained the server for several years.
