The Environmental Conservation Organization at Dartmouth is:
"an education network of student ECO Reps? in every residence hall?, faculty ECO Advisors? and student ECO Interns? in college offices?, and student and faculty ECO Coordinators? in the Tucker Foundation. Created in Spring '98, its purpose is to enhance the ease, efficiency, and adaptability of our recycling, composting, and energy conservation programs. By connecting students to students to faculty to up-to-date information on recycling, composting, and energy conservation?, the ECO strives to raise awareness, pride, and ownership of our waste reduction programs?."1
