The John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding was created in 1982 in honor of John Dickey? (a past Dartmouth President).

Mission

"The purpose of the Dickey Center, in the words of Dartmouth's Board of Trustees, is to "coordinate, sustain, and enrich the international dimension of liberal arts education at Dartmouth."" [1]
