Imagine writing programs in a browser window that would crash sometimes because it didn't like Java? all that much.

And then sometime when you were executing the code the browser would freeze and so would the iMac.

Computer Science 18 used to be taught using Noodlle, a bastard son of Dylan? which in turn was a functional programming language? developed by Apple? (IIRC).
