The Snow Sculpture is a part of Winter Carnival.
Each year we create a large sculpture out of snow that somehow ties in with that year's theme. In 2003 the DOC rescued the snow sculpture from extinction -- apparently the winter carnival planners had decided to drop it due to lack of interest.
