SavePowerAndReceiveCash
Dartmouth sponsors the Save Power and Receive Cash (SPARC) program, that encourages people to conserve energy? on a dorm-by-dorm basis.
The dorm with the most savings (as compared to the previous year), gets money and/or a party with pizza.

Issues, etc..
- SPARC rewards the hall that reduces their power consumption? from the previous year. What are some problems with that?
- Residence Halls? have electric stoves?. AFAIK, these stoves can suck lots of power, so SPARC means that people shouldn't cook.
- Similarly, fridges take lots of power. SPARC seems to reccomend that people not have cube fridges? (even though people steal food from communal fridges? quite often).
- What about heating? It seems like Dartmouth could save a lot of money if all of the residence halls? had thermostats so that people could adjust their room to an appropriate temperature without having to open a window. (Is that still necessary in some dorms to regulate heat?)
