The world is a very big place.

History

Well, way back when we had a Big Bang?, and then a while later our solar system? formed with the sun? and the planet earth?. Somehow out of all that the earth was put in a stable orbit? around the sun, which is really quite nice because we would burn up if we crashed into the sun.

Hmmm. NASA probably has some really nice pictures of the earth.

Are humans really going to destroy the planet?

Nope. Even though we have advanced biological, chemical, and nuclear weapons, there is a high likelyhood that the Vogons will beat us to the punch. It appears that they're building some kind of through-way or highway or something.
