Yes, we know that DOSC is also the acronym for the "Deans Office Student Consultants", and we're going to try to figure that name conflict out soon.

Current Business

• YES! the Council on Computing is going to have us give a presentation on open source software, etc... on May 1st 2003. We need to get our website, etc.. into really good shape so that people can see how spiffy we look and how organized we are.
  • NewFrontPage -- doing some testing to see how our new site will look.
    • NewBeginnerLinuxPage? -- page for beginners to Linux

• WeeklyMeetings --- We're not "considering" anymore! We are having weekly meetings to discuss linux, open source projects, etc...

• TuxLibraryOfComputerScience -- Dartmouth has very few books on Linux, Computer Science, computer languages, etc... available. I have thought about such a library for CS students, and hopefully Tux's library will provide great books for us geeks (and for the rest of the world as well).

• CoolNodes -- just cool stuff!

• Calendar Software -- check out our calendar!
